How much money will I be able
to borrow?
We offer unsecured loans from £500 to £25000.
If you are a homeowner and are looking for a secured loan they start from £3000
and go upto £100000. All loans are dependent on the applicants circumstances
and credit history. In some cases credit scoring is used by the lender
to ascertain the client suitability for the loan.
How quickly can I get my loan?
Quicker than you would imagine. We endeavour to have all loans completed
within 14 days of application, although of course just as it can occasionally
take longer, it can also be quicker. The quicker you return any documents
required, to us, the quicker you will have your loan. You can help us make
it happen quicker. Unsecured loans can be as quick as 24 hours.
What can I use my loan for?
Loans will be considered for almost all legal purposes. This can range
from clearing your existing debts, home improvements, major purchases
or for that well deserved holiday. Lenders may in some cases reject
the following loan purposes -
Timeshare purchase
Tax or VAT bill
Capital raising
Business ventures

Will you visit me at home?
Not unless you request it. In general all of our loans can be done with
by post.
Why cover my monthly payments with payment protection?
Quite simply for peace of mind. In the event you were unable to make
the repayments due to redundancy (in most cases even if you’re
self-employed), sickness, or even an accident at work, your repayments
(subject to certain
exclusions and terms) will be made for you directly by the insurer.
How much will my repayments cost me a month?
That depends on how much you borrow and how long you wish to repay the
loan over. We can make yourloan with you to ensure your repayments
suit your monthly budget. We do not encourage people to borrow more
than they can comfortably afford to repay.
What will it cost me to apply for a loan?
Applying for a Loans 4 People loan is free, regardless of whether you
call or apply on line, plus, we do not charge you if you decide not
to proceed with your application. When you are ready we will be more
than happy to help you apply for a loan again.
How do I apply for my loan?
You can complete our quick application form, or secured and unsecured
loan application forms by clicking "apply online", or speak
to one of our staff on 0800 028 0151.
Will need to contact my employer?
Only if you do not have pay slips or a P60 we may ask your permission
to obtain a reference from your employer, purely asking them to confirm
your position, length in employment and your annual salary. We will
not supply them with any details of your loan application and they
will not be made aware you are applying for finance.
Can I repay more than my standard monthly repayment?
YES you can. Many of our loans allow you to make payments over and above
your standard monthly repayment, whether it be at the same time as
your normal monthly repayment or at any other point in the month. The
amounts you pay over and above will reduce the outstanding balance
of your loan accordingly. This means you will be paying the same monthly
interest, but on a smaller loan balance, therefore you will be able
to clear your loan in full sooner than the term it was originally scheduled
over.
Can I get a loan even if I am in
arrears on my mortgage?
YES. Having arrears on your mortgage does not prevent you from getting
a loan. If you have arrears when your loan completes, all the arrears
will be paid directly by the lender from the proceeds of your loan.
So remember, when applying for your loan make sure you add on the arrears
to the amount you require.
Can I repay the loan before the stated period?
YES. If you do so, you will benefit from a rebate of interest which will
mean that the loan has actually cost you less.
What happens if I cannot make my monthly repayment?
First and foremost you should contact your lender and notify them of
your situation. They would much prefer to know beforehand. If you have
Repayment Protection Cover, you should assess your circumstances and
check you are covered. These valuable policies usually cover accident,
sickness and unemployment. Your lender will explain the terms of your
cover to you, as well as doing everything possible to bring your account
back on track.
Is my loan application confidential?
Yes, in all cases. We are members of F.I.S.A – Finance Industry
Standards Association, members of C.F.B – Corporation of Finance
Brokers, we hold a CCL – Consumer Credit Licence and we adhere
to the DPA – data Protection Act. If you require further information
on this matter please do not hesitate to contact our team (pending application
with corporation of finance brokers).
Can I have a fixed rate loan?
Yes. Many of our loans offer a five year fixed rate period at the start
of the loan term.
Can I get a loan even if I am in arrears with my existing loans/cards
or have a poor credit rating?
Yes. Having a bad credit rating does not prevent you from getting a loan.
You may be considering clearing some or all of the credit you have (if
any) to reduce your monthly credit bills with a single more affordable
loan. The majority of our customers do precisely that.
Can I get a loan if I have or have had County Court Judgments (CCJ)
or defaults?
Yes. Having CCJs does not prevent you from getting a loan. You may also
wish to consider clearing some or all of your CCJs with part or all of
your loan. The choice is yours. It is not a condition of our loans that
you have to clear any CCJs either before or after you take the loan out.
What happens if my question hasn’t
been answered?
We will be more than delighted to assist you or answer any of your questions.

Can I borrow money even if I cannot prove my income?
Yes. The majority of our panel of lenders offer products to suit which
include self-certification (refer to jargon buster).
Can I borrow more money whilst paying my current loan?
Yes. At anytime during the loan period you may contact our experienced
team who will advise you on what your options are at that time.
Can I borrow more money in the future after my loan has been completed?
Yes. Assuming the conduct of your loan account is to your lender's satisfaction,
you may apply to take a second loan out with them; what we call a Further
Advance. Many of our loan plans allow you to apply immediately for
a further advance, the others may request that your original loan account
be running for three months or more before they will consider your
application for more money.
Can I recommend a friend or relative for a loan?
Yes. In fact call our team today and they will inform you of our customer
recommend reward program

If I have a loan secured on my house, will it cause problems when it
comes to moving home?
Not at all. You can pay off the outstanding balance of the loan from
the sale of your house. It may even be possible to transfer the loan
to the new property.
